A Letter to Willa, Age Ten Months

Dear Willa,

Slow down turbo! You’re growing up too fast!

In the last two months, you’ve learned to say Momma, Papa, uh-oh and Bog Bog, which is what you call Big Guy. You’re crawling everywhere, hiding under tables and toys, and even pulling up to stand. You love crawling into our bathroom, pulling up on the side of the bathtub, and turning on the facet. It makes you laugh!

You’re such a big girl now, drinking out of cups and not needing bottles anymore. You ate a whole snack of baby nachos (Cheerios and shredded cheddar) all by yourself, placing each morsel carefully in your mouth. I’m always so amazed how gentle you are in everything that you do.

You still love school, and Miss Kistee and the other teachers are taking such good care of you.

One of your favorite things to do is swing at the playground. You giggle like crazy in that swing!

Last month you met your cousins Amelie and Ivan for the first time when we went on a family vacation to Clearwater, Florida. We had a whole week with them, Aunt Robin, Uncle Allen, Grandma Bunny and Grandpa Chief. You loved swimming in the pool and eating the sand. Mommy loved the former more than the latter.

Your Papa and I are so proud of you! We love you!

xoxo,
Momma
